About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for a driver role within a public healthcare environment under a provincial Department of Health. The position forms part of the logistics and support services team and involves transporting patients, staff, and essential items.

What the Role Involves
Successful applicants will be responsible for:
- Transporting patients (including P2, P3, and mental health cases), staff, medication, and mail
- Operating hospital vehicles safely and professionally
- Communicating with dispatch for schedules and instructions
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip)
- Maintaining cleanliness of assigned vehicles
- Completing log sheets accurately
- Using GPS, two-way radios, and mobile communication tools
- Reporting accidents or incidents when required
- Safeguarding fuel cards, vehicle tools, and documentation
