Key Responsibilities
As a Salesperson at Sleepmasters, you will be expected to:
- Drive Sales Performance
- Execute daily sales activities to meet and exceed sales budgets and income targets.
- Proactively engage customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Promote a wide range of products and services while emphasizing value and quality.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service
- Create a welcoming and positive shopping experience for every customer.
- Actively listen to customer inquiries and address them professionally and efficiently.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by offering exceptional after-sales support.
- Operational Excellence
- Manage all transactions, including cash and credit processes, in compliance with company policies.
- Ensure proper handling of customer orders and accurate documentation of sales records.
- Keep the sales floor organized and maintain product displays to attract customer attention.
- Contribute to Team Success
- Collaborate with team members to meet overall store objectives and sales targets.
- Share product knowledge and insights with colleagues to enhance team capabilities.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product offerings and sales techniques.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Grade 12 certificate is required.
- Experience: 7–12 months of sales experience, preferably within the retail industry.
