About SBV YES Learnership Programme
The SBV YES Learnership Programme offers an exciting opportunity to gain professional experience in distribution control. As a Distribution Controller (YES Learner), you will be responsible for monitoring the secure handling, loading, transportation, and offloading of sachet coins in fixed denominations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and verify all necessary documentation, including ID, SBV laser card, Cash Movement Receipt Book, and Specie run schedule.
- Ensure vehicles are properly loaded, balanced, and secured before departure.
- Monitor the integrity of specie bags to prevent any tampering.
- Maintain dual control processes while handling cash and specie bags.
- Lock and secure cargo areas during transportation.
- Follow bank standard operating procedures when entering branches.
- Accurately record transaction details and obtain authorization for any changes.
- Assist Treasury Custodians with receiving and paying out specie and notes.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards.
- Support SBV’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
